Monterey Federation mansion, Mosman]
- More than $3 million is expected for the Fairlight residence owned by Malcolm Bundey, the US-based right-hand man to Kiwi billionaire Graeme Hart, at its March 3 auction.
- The Fairlight Crescent property has been owned by Bundey since he bought it for $3.4 million in August 2006.
- Soon after purchasing the property, Bundey left his position as chief financial officer of Goodman Fielder to work in the US, so the house was rented. Now president and chief executive of Hart's global packaging business, Bundey is based in Indianapolis and doesn't envisage a return to Australia soon.
With water views, the five-bedroom Edwardian residence has an impressive facade. On a 676-square-metre block, it is a short stroll from Davis Marina.
